To increase the understanding of CUEB by international students, School of International Education organized international students to visit CUEB history museum on April 13th.

Guided by narrator of the history museum, international students reviewed 60 years’ development of CUEB. The narrator explained to the international students that CUEB has actively responded to national call and served the economic construction of Beijing during all phases of CUEB’s development. Even under difficult circumstances, despite the extreme hardship, the elder generation of scholars and professors were made great sacrifices to serve for the education. Nowadays, CUEB promotes the camel spirit of down-to-earth on the path of its development, continuously enhance talent cultivation, discipline and faculty construction as well as international cooperation. The narrator introduced the "past and present" of CUEB to international students with precious photos in which international students showed amount of  interest and actively interact with the narrator.

At the end of the visit, Afghan student Fayeez Gharib Shah stated that this visit was very meaningful. Through this event, he gained a better understanding of CUEB’s development and teaching and research achievements. Throughout 60 years,CUEB has cultivated many famous experts and scholars. He would like to follow their steps and study hard.
