New Year Celebration Party of School of International Education

 

 

 

December 23^rd of 2016, to bring New Year’s greetings for retired professors and all the faculties, the branch union of school of international education held New Year's greeting party at 2F conference hall; more than 40 teachers participated in this greeting party. The Party branch Secretary Li Fenglei, deputy dean Zhu Hong, dean assistant Yu Jia and chairman of the branch union Zhou Lei gathered with all professors to celebrate the New Year’s coming.

 

The greeting party was held in western buffet, all the faculties set around the table to discuss the past accomplishments and make plans for 2017. The retired leaders and professors affirmed all the achievements and encouraged all staff to make great progress.

 

 

1pm, the pictures of student activities in 2016 flew on the screen of lecture hall while the joyful background music starts. The smiling faces of students and teachers told all the developments of school of international education in last year.  

 

 

The New Year’s party stated at 1:30. Three bachelor program students, Gima, Liefv and Hu Ye ,gave wonderful opening speech in fluent Chinese. Next, students from Class 4 of Language Study wearing Christmas outfits sang the class holiday song Jing Bells, Lutfullo, from Tajikistan performed amazingly Judo won applauses. Wearing national costume Bai Fei played African drum, students danced with the beats. Later, students and teachers enjoyed beautiful song Stay with You from another African student Chi We. Several little games designed by our professors was played during the breaks, students participated actively. Not only strengthened the memory of Chinese words, but also those little games brought everyone more connected.   

 

 

The atmosphere of the party reached a peak by the four times of lucky draw. Everyone looked forward to the good luck. In the end, the New Year’s party closed successfully after the song performances by class two of language study.

 

 

The New Year’s party not only showed the past achievements of the school of international education, but also presented the good spirit of all the faculties and students. We all connected together to step into the New Year, and embraced a brighter future.
